The Dolphin Board of Awesome was a project on a mission to create the first plant-based, compostable/recyclable, biomimetic, high-performance, 3D-printed surfboard. Made possible by a team of surfers, designers, entrepreneurs, artists, and scientists donating their time, the project came together with an imperfect, groundbreaking board that imagines where we could be headed in surfboard manufacturing. We made a short film that documents the making of, and the discussion about, this inspiring project.
